Islamabad: Visual Artist Soraya Sikander has been awarded the coveted 'High Achiever' Award at the National Youth Award Ceremony, November 2021. Soraya Sikander has made a name for herself by developing a new style to paint landscapes and her contemporary depictions of the natural world. Over the years Soraya Sikander has participated in several museum and international art biennales. Her paintings are in international art galleries, art galleries in Pakistan, museums and private collections. The artist enjoys immense popularity for her tonal paintings, that fuse elements of Arabic Calligraphy, Mughal Fresco and British Romanticism. The artist could not be present for the occasion. This is the artist Soraya Sikander's second award ceremony attended virtually during the pandemic.
